Baby Bath Time

Brynn was very excited to have a little brother to share bath-time with, even though Alex was in his little bath tub.

Of course, Brynn sometimes wanted to be a baby again too!

I actually clearly remember this day; looking at my sweet baby in the little bath, thinking about how huge that scar was on his little belly. Jon reassured me that it wouldn't always be so big, that it would shrink in relation to the size of his belly as he grew older.

I saw it as proof of the power of modern medicine, showing how much could be accomplished these days. And truly, Alex's surgery did give Alex six months with us.
